As a strong component of her dedication, Debra will put her expertise to work and listen to clients needs. Her goal is to deliver exceptional service and desired results, all the while while ensuring her clients enjoy the process and are excited for their next adventure.
Kate McKinnon
Sales Representative
Kate was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. As a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces, she has had the opportunity to live in a number of cities across Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia. After leaving the Navy honourably, Kate relocated to the Ottawa region, where she met her husband, started her family, earned an Honours B.A. in English (Magna Cum Laude) and an M.A. in English, and worked at the University of Ottawa. For years, Kate dreamed of escaping the city in search of a smaller town—one that could offer her and her young family a true sense of belonging, a feeling of home, and a place among the Franco-Ontarien community.
Kate’s search inevitably led her to Brockville, where she currently resides with her husband, two children, and parents-in-law. It also led her to Debra Lynn Currier, who was not only able to help her find and purchase the perfect multigenerational home for her growing family, but also to inspire her to pursue a new career path. After over a decade of work in academia and business, Kate took a leap of faith into the world of real estate and joined the Currier Team in 2022. She comes with a unique set of life experiences and skills that are not common in the industry.
From a life lived across provincial borders in both rural and urban settings, and having personally experienced the sale and purchase of several homes, Kate fully appreciates just how stressful purchasing and selling property can be. Her goals are always the same: to put her clients first, to nurture her relationships with customers, clients, and other professionals in the industry, to be a reliable source of information, to act with professionalism, dignity, and respect, to uphold an incredibly high ethical standard, and to become a leader in the community.
